Business Development Representative –works with the Partner and Carrier / Service Provider teams to drive new customers.

Role Description

Business Development Representative –works with the Partner and Carrier / Service Provider teams to drive new customers.

The person in this role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential partners. Primary day-to-day responsibilities are aligned to our sales and go-to-market initiatives for SIPPIO’s strategic applications & automation.

The primary functions of this Business Development Role is aligned to the following priorities:

  • Manage Inbound Enquiries – identify, qualify, close
  • Outreach to target Customers, Partners, Carriers and Service Providers
  • Work in collaboration with Sales to on-board Carriers and Service-Providers

The focus will be to identify and on-board new partners that drive active utilization and value from SIPPIO’s application and global services. Where appropriate, collaborative work with Sales will be required to support the development of strategic partners by using campaigns, nurturing & account-based Marketing. The Business Development role is able to represent SIPPIO’s value proposition to Customers, Partners, Telco Carriers & Service-Providers. Candidates in this Role will have the opportunity to move into other Sales Roles (Account Management / Hi-Touch) as appropriate.


  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a Technology B2B, SaaS or Corporate Sales environment.
  • Telco, Service-Provider or Microsoft sales experience highly desired.
  • Ability to effectively present information to executives, top management, public groups, and sales communities
  • Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, looking for new ways to succeed and drive more meetings.
  • Great at building relationships with prospects and customers and being able to open doors for Sales to convert the leads into active / selling partners
  • Will be curious about technology, market dynamics and engage in learning about new technologies and industries
  • Enjoy working towards targets and meeting and exceeding your goals and targets.
  • Excel in time management and ability to prioritize activities.
  • Strong oral (phone) and written (email) communication skills.
  • Proficiency with the following will be a benefit – Microsoft Office, MSFT Teams / ZOOM & Hubspot platforms to manage data, contact flow and actions.
  • Be able to work in a “start-up” environment
  • Performance and milestone orientated.
